We know that renovation is one of the fastest ways of growing a property portfolio and creating wealth. We also know that making the wrong decisions can be disastrous and we are determined to prevent this from happening to anyone who chooses to work with us.
Belinda and Brett got married at a young 22 and 23 years old, and purchased their first renovation project, a small home unit near Cronulla beach.
They sold their renovated home unit and purchased an old house on the waterfront, demolished it, custom designed and owner-built a 2 storey home, working alongside a builder, they honed their DIY building skills. They completed the ground floor first, moved in and continued the build bit-by-bit as they could afford the building materials. Belinda was working in the NSW Police Force and Brett was a mechanic for Qantas.

We finished the house DIY, landscaped, built a pool, garage, horse stables and a chook shed.
Brett left Qantas and opened his own successful handyman business.
Belinda revamped furniture for fun and to create designer quality rooms for less.
We read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and immediately sprung into action, joining property investor groups, learning everything we could about property, finance, building and developments.
At this point, we became very intent on providing a nice future for us and the kids.
We built a house in Queensland for an investment and studied accounting.
Using what we were learning with our investor groups, we headed to regional NSW and bought two homes to renovate.
Flipping one for profit immediately allowed us to renovate the other house, plus buy a block of land with the proceeds.
Immediately after, we traveled to New Zealand with our investor group and bought 4 houses in less than a week which have since tripled in value.
Focused on the benefits of positive cashflow, we bought our first Commercial Property in regional NSW, comprising a Real Estate business downstairs and residential units upstairs.
We renovated the units and increased the rent by $1,000 per month.
Completed Financial Services Diploma in Mortgage broking to get a clear understanding of lending industry in Australia.
We sold our PPR and bought another old house to knock down and rebuild. Soon after, local Real Estate Agents talked us into selling for profit and we couldn’t refuse!
Belinda qualified as a Real Estate Agent and offered work in the industry, but realised that buying and selling Real Estate for family was lots more fun than selling it for other people.
A couple of years later, Belinda joined forces with a friend who had flipped houses consistently for 30 years, and opened up a Facebook page on the topic of renovating, DIY and home inspiration. The online following grew fast, and due to demand, developed into a Renovation Consultancy business.
Purchased a gigantic 1970’s Mediterranean style house and had DA plans approved to convert it internally, into 2 dwellings. These dwellings each have 4 bedrooms, 2 living, 3 bathrooms, and parking for 2 cars.
After constant requests from followers on Social Media, we developed online training and live renovation workshops for people all around Australia: Renovation Secrets for people wanting to learn how to renovate and Renovation Consultancy Mastery for experienced renovators wanting to launch a business using their skills.
